Florida car accidents: woman killed in wrong-way collision

There are many reasons why a motor vehicle collision might occur. Unfortunately, one common factor in car accidents is drinking and driving. This is especially distressing, as it is one potential factor that could be avoided entirely. One Florida woman lost her life in a recent crash caused by a suspected drunk driver.

Commercial vehicle accidents are often deadly

It is common knowledge that collisions between cars can cause serious injuries and property damage. Commercial vehicle accidents may be even worse, however, due to the larger size of the vehicles involved. One person was killed and several others were injured in a recent crash involving a recreational vehicle and a tractor-trailer in Florida.

Fatalities often result from motorcycle accidents

Florida drivers who fail to obey traffic laws not only put themselves but everyone around them in danger. This is especially true when sharing the road with smaller vehicles, such as motorcycles. Because of the lack of protection provided by larger automobiles, motorcycle accidents may result in serious injury or even death. Two people were recently killed in one such collision.

Auto accidents involving speeding can lead to fatalities

For many Florida drivers, driving over the speed limit may not seem like a big deal. Drivers may find themselves late for work or an appointment and try to get to their destinations as quickly as possible. However, many serious auto accidents result from speeding. A man and his grandson were both recently killed by a driver believed to be speeding.

Distracted driving is a major cause of car accidents in Florida

Distracted driving is a serious problem not only in Florida, but across the country. Many different factors could lead to distractions that could cause car accidents, such as use of cell phones, being too tired to drive or simply being in a negative mindset while driving. One of those issues may have been the cause of a recent collision that led to a man's death.
