Car accidents: Tragic accident injures 6 and kills young girl

Many Florida motorists have experienced the fear of realizing that another vehicle is attempting to move into their path potentially resulting in a crash. While many motorists are able to avoid collisions by honking their horn or quickly moving out the way of the other vehicle, serious car accidents cannot always be avoided. Recently, six people were injured after an accident resulted from a woman attempting to avoid a collision.

The SUV was full of six people, including two adults and four children. The SUV was apparently traveling in the lane next to a semi-truck just prior to the accident. Reportedly, the tractor-trailer began to move into the path of the SUV. The 22-year-old driver of the SUV reacted by swerving to avoid a collision.

Unfortunately, the swerving resulted in the woman losing control of her vehicle. The SUV spun and flipped over four times before it came to a stop. The impact of the collision ejected four of the occupants from the vehicle. All of the occupants required medical treatment. Sadly, one of the passengers, a 5-year-old girl, did not survive her injuries.

Car accidents without injuries may be overwhelming to handle because of the aftermath of filing insurance claims and comprehending the results of an accident investigation. When injuries are involved, it may be more difficult to deal with. Many car accident victims find it comforting to speak to a personal injury attorney to help them process the accident and understand all the related consequences to expect. In some cases, Florida attorneys may be able to help a client file an insurance claim, but in other cases, filing a lawsuit in civil court against alleged negligent parties may be advised.
